What are lyophilization services?

Lyophilization is the technical term for freeze drying: your product is frozen, placed under vacuum, and the ice leaves by sublimation — solid straight to vapor — preserving structure, flavor and activity. Contract lyophilization means we run that process for you on our systems. Your material stays yours the whole way through.

What products are a fit?

Food and ingredients, nutraceuticals, botanicals and extracts, pet nutrition, and development runs that prove a cycle before you scale it. One line drawn plainly: our systems are commercial production equipment, not validated pharmaceutical equipment — sterile fill-finish and validated pharma work belong with a validated CDMO, and we will say so rather than take a run we should not.

How is a run priced?

From your product's water load. The pounds of water that must leave your batch decide the work; handling and packaging ride on top. We publish the arithmetic instead of a rate card: the sizing calculator computes your batch's water load, and the cost-per-pound calculator turns any run cost into dollars per pound of water removed — your numbers, your answer.

How do I start?

Characterize the product on the quote form: what it is, batch weight, starting and target moisture, and how it loads. A development run on your actual product is the normal first step before volume.
